Myth: Cheese gives you nightmares

There’s no evidence that cheese or other dairy products lead to nightmares. Disturbing or vivid dreams are more associated with emotional eating, uncontrolled eating or dieting rather than what was eaten. Don’t go to bed hungry, so eat something light. Eating a large meal before bed can disrupt our circadian rhythms because the body is working hard to digest the large quantity of food we’ve eaten.
